Decent quality themal imaging at a reasonable price
Item was brand new and was easy to setup on my micro-USB Samsung smartphone using either the FLIR One or Thermal Camera for FLIR apps. Reading many reviews, I am extremely careful when attaching, detaching, and handling the phone with the camera connected so as to not bend, damage, or break the very small and fragile connector. The thumb knob allows for easy camera connector height adjustment to allow the camera to be snug against the bottom of the phone to reduce sideways connector flexing. Image quality is not bad and usable at 160 x 120 pixels. The video image outline overlay on top of the thermal image helps to give the appearance of higher resolution and makes it easy to identify points of concern more accurately. The FLIR One app gives a smooth noise reduced image while the Thermal Camera for FLIR app gives a "true" noisier image which I think is more accurate. Because of the very small size of the camera, battery life is about an hour which is expected. Overall, the best resolution and functionality for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

FlirOnlyOne for Me
I give it 5 stars for two reasons. First one being that only 5 stars are available otherwise it would receive more from me. Secondly, the way the true image and what my eyes are capable of seeing in the regular picture viewing option blend together to form an image right out of predator or something. Although in the movie, the technology and although available was still far behind in its flir skills like it is today. Amazed by this thing. My five year old thinks i have super powers because of it. I would but 5 more and share this with my closest friends but i only have one. Hes five, and as i mentioned ive shared it with him already! Great product Flir. If you have not already,then Get One! Yeah this thing is worth the price. Has some downfalls -low temp will kill it. MSX feature is un -tune able for varying distance. Resolution is good, price is great.
