nVidia 3D ROCKS!!!!
These glasses are great. They perform flawlessly and the charge lasts for a seriously long time. I've gamed for days without plugging them in for a charge. I'm not sure how long a charge will last because I have yet to charge them. The connection is a snap through the nvidia control panel. They are quite large which is great for me because they fit over my glasses. However some people like their 3D glasses as light and streamlined as possible. If you are one of those people you will not like these glasses. Best PC 3D Experience Ever
I own a Dell XPS 17 inch 3D Laptop using Nvidia 3D Vision. While the 3D is awesome, the screen darkens nearly quite a bit when using 3D and it is the only complaint I have with it. I have a Samsung 3D monitor which uses Samsung's proprietary 3D system, but, while the 3D is on par with the Dell XPS, it leaves much to be desired. So, I purchased a Alienware 25 inch 3D monitor and the Nvidia 3Dvision 2 Kit. After installing the kit and running the 3DVision setup, I was amazed at the difference the 3DVision 2 system out performed both the Samsung 3D and the Dell XPS first generation Nvidia 3DVision. Life limited.
Sure a must have to get a great 3d experience on a compatible monitor but the internal battery is very temperamental and life limited. So when the battery goes so does the whole experience.
