I had a slight weep around the pinion shaft on my steering rack, added some silverhook stop leak, I added half the bottle and after a couple of days it seems to have stopped leaking. Its been a few week since and so far so good.

Does NOT do what is says on the can.
Probably a good drain cleaner, but no good for what it claims it can do!!! Perhaps the punctuation should be changed to say "STOP, LEAK" !!. THAT MEANS ,YES, YOU HAVE A LEAK, BUT NOT SAYING THIS CONTENT WILL STOP IT!!

It works....
...but I didn't use it in a gearbox! The fork seals on my BMW motorbike were weeping - I read that this stuff can revitalise fork seals, so gave it a go. It worked! Obviously the same principle applies when used in a gearbox. I've done over 500 miles now since using it, and not a trace of a weep from the seals.
