Great Battery tester
I use the midtronix tester on a daily basis at work and I can honestly say that the Draper expert is every bit as good at a fraction of the cost. It is easy to use, you have the option from the start to do an in vehicle or out of vehicle test. The leads are a good length (longer than the new midtronix) and you can unplug them for easy storage in the hard case supplied. There is room for three printer rolls & a spare 9v battery in the case which is lined with a foam base and top for protection of the unit. Setting up your information (business name / phone number) is easy and it stores up to 80 tests incase you need to refer to them later. The printer is quick and clear giving a professional end result. I use mine to do battery tests on Caravan & motorhome leisure batteries, so really don't need to do the in vehicle test (although I have tested our cars) Prior to this purchase I bought the Ring tester and had to go through the in vehicle options to get to the out of vehicle test which was a pain, so I returned that and bought this one. I'm very glad I did, I purchased it from bamford-trading and a word has to be said about their service, they were outstanding, It arrived the day after I purchased it. I had a minor issue with the first unit (printer fault) but they sent a courier to collect it and deliver a replacement the next day. Very helpful and very professional. In summary, a quality item for a decent price. There are cheaper models out there but there are a lot more expensive ones, midtronix being one of the most expensive one model is twice the price, the other is 3 times the price but neither do much more than this one. Top marks Draper!
