Classic drum sounds good as new
Given that it's a 1965 drum It's in nice shape. The snare throw takes a little coaxing to engage because of normal wear. I don't consider It to be a problem. The drum has nice response and would be fine for a wide range of musical styles. It isn't an especially loud instrument. I recently purchased a 70s Acrolite also. The 70's model sounds dull compared to this 1965 beauty. Nice buy!
