A neat solution to bedtime comfort
I needed to raise the foot of my bed, due to problems with swollen ankles. I bought two of these, and placed them under my 4' 6" mattress, side by side. An extremely neat solution. The pillow could equally be used on top of the mattress, under the sheet, but placing it under the mattress means that it cannot move, and places it at exactly the right position for me. As a result, not only are my ankles fine now, but it has also helped with my chronic back pain - due, I guess, to my new sleeping posture.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very comfy for getting a good night's sleep, and we love it...
I bought this one after extensive research because I have re-flux which had ended up as a painful ulcer and for months I was just using pillows to prop up with. This wedge pillow however solved that problem... it's nice and large and in terms of length you'll get full support as it's 30" long with a gentle incline of only 6" at the thickest end meaning you don't slide down. It's also wide enough to stay on it just fine either on your side or on your back.. I am 11.5 stone and it supports me just fine. This also comes with a plain white popper fastening cover which you can take off and wash and the seller also sells just the cover on it's own if you want a wash'n'wear one. This pillow has made a big difference to getting a better night's sleep (plus making a few small dietary changes). We liked this so much we then bought another for my wife and also ordered two spare covers. Now, a small thing to mention (and this will apply to most brands anyway...) is the initial smell from the new foam which is normal with any foam product but it can be easily sorted. It arrives sealed in two plastic bags in it's delivered full size uncompressed so it's not aired. The remedy for me was to speed up the airing process by putting the foam pillow inside a large vacuum pack storage bag and sucking the air out of it with the hoover a couple of times in quick succession to release the trapped chemical vapor in the foam's pores and as the vacuum bag is re- opened the foam re-expands sucking in fresh air. Just about right
Recently diagnosed with hiatus hernia and recommended to raise bed head with blocks by doctor. This pillow achieves the same effect more neatly and not only that I can take it to a different bedroom easily if I need to. It pretty much the right shape (maybe a little longer would be even better) and certainly the right stiffness of foam to hold me up. Ok but wish we had read returns policy as didn’t find it suitable.
