Wheatgrass boost
I'm not a hippy-trippy kind of gal, believing in every new fad that comes out of California but when a health professional recommended wheatgrass, I took it seriously.
I'll be brutally honest, when mixed with water, it tastes terrible but I experimented with mixers and settled down to a daily dose as soon as I get up.
It helps my 'internal transit' but the biggest benefit is a surge of energy in the afternoon, similar to the boost I get from my (infrequent) visits to the gym. Must be the endorphins!
Recommended mixers - low-calorie chocolate milk, fruity yoghurt drinks or apricot, peach or orange juice.
