A sturdily-built excercise machine
Assembly takes about twenty minutes with easy-to-follow instructions. All the required parts and tools are provided and clearly identified. The machine seems sturdily-built, which fully justifies the cost. It occupies a space of about a metre square (though more space around it is required for some of the exercises). Because it does not fold down, it would not be easy to store without being almost fully dismantled, and its weight and shape make it slightly awkward to move. The accompanying DVD adequately presents the exercises and gives a motivational regimen. Whether the degree of muscle toning within the stated timescale is realistic remains to be demonstrated - and this is obviously dependant on personal commitment. Nevertheless, it would seem likely that the low impact exercises would be only beneficial if undertaken as advised.

Good all round little exercise machine.
Had to replace my first machine as it started to get stiff to twist handle after 15 min workout and second one is doing exactly the same thing. The shaft under the plate gets extremely hot so don't know if this is a fault with them all. Besides that they are great little machines.

Comfortable to use
I am really enjoying the Twist and Shape and because I have a bad back problem I was a little wary it would harm me but I seem okay with the basic simple exercises I do. You can actually feel it pulling around the core, which I bought it for. The only problem is the rev/cal/time, etc. counter. If I set it to zero, I can't seem to select one of them only and it flashes through all of the functions so I don't know where I am with it and it would have been better on the handles as it's hard to see when you are exercising. It's good fun I've has this about a month now and the only thing is it's started to have a grinding sound when you twist and it gets to you when you are twisting but it's good and easy to use
