Good set of pre tap and tap thread tool bits.
Bought these pre tap and tap set to clear out blind nuts welded to the rails under my car prior to fitting a trailer hitch set up. They did the job well and made fitting the bolts a lot easier, needed to do it properly to make sure of a good secure fitting. Bad points: The taper tap has poorly made thread crests. Doesn't cut cleanly. Good points: Cheap. If you manage to get the blind tap started straight it cuts ok. Would be ok to chase rusty threads or clean paint out with but no good for tapping actual holes!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
