Does a great job
Very quick delivery although I was slightly uncomfortable with the amount of cardboard packaging used (certainly well protected!). My first ice cream maker so nothing to compare it to, but it performed perfectly. It is, however, all about the right recipe (the sample one on the pamphlet is ok, but found a great eggs based recipe off the bbc good food guide). The end result is frozen, but it still really needed overnight in the freezer for scooping perfection. I served it to friends and family who were all very complimentary about the end result. I did make the mistake of pushing the quantity to slightly more than the 1.2litres on one occasion and the result was not so frozen, but the freezer sorted that out In summary, a great little unit, but the recipe is the key to its success (garbage in = garbage out!!).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
