Good humidifier. Read the whole review.
We have a couple of these humidifiers. I like the fact that they come with 2- 1 gallon tanks so you don't have to watch them so carefully but we do have to fill them daily. Anything less than 2 gallons and we can be filling twice a day. The company recommends distilled water, but this is impractical as 2 gallons of distilled water daily is difficult and/or expensive. So regular hard water create buildup and mineral buildup will make them noisey prematurely. What I haven't tried but will soon is flushing them with a citric acid solution, decalcifying as we do our espresso machines. Hopefully this will increase their longevity and keep them quiet. When new this humidifier is VERY quiet. One of these machines will humidify a 200 sq ft room to about 40% RIH in the dead of winter. We have a 250 sq ft bedroom and have one of these and a small humidifier and together they can keep up. But most humidifiers are under-rated and this one gives the best coverage. We also have a Honeywell evaporative humidifier and a small TaoTronics. This one puts out the most moisture.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It is exactly as I expected and works well
If you have never used one of these it might be a bit difficult to figure out. However the directions are clear and you simply need to take your time first time around and FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Keep it clean ... FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ... carry it properly ..
