I was a little doubtful this item would work, and I would have to purchase a complete inlet manifold-min cost £150.00 then fitting on top!! I was wrong!! I fitted it myself-2 hrs total. Swirl flap bar.
This is an absolutley brilliant product much better than the original . The one on my saab 9-3 turbo had worn and failed , detatching from the actuator i thought about doing away with the flaps but found this bar on ebay and thought i would give it a try. When it arrived i was pleasently surprised at the quality of the product and the speed of delivery was fantastic this bar is so much better than the original the old one bounced around when engine was sat idleing the now one is a snug fit and has totally restored the performace of my car and i would highly recomend X8R as a company the service is second to none 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Outstanding replacement part
I bought this part recently as I had the engine management light come on in my Saab, I had it plugged in and it came up with a fuel code, checked everything under bonnet to find the bar had popped off again for the second time in six months. Fantastic Product!!
This product is superb! As most Vectra CDTI owners will find out during the ownership of their vehicle, the original swirl flap rod eventually wears to the point that it falls off. This kit completely replaced the original rod, and using high quality brass bushes that connect to the 4 x swirl flaps. For the sake of £25, this kit essentially saved me hundreds by not having to replace the complete intake manifold. Works very well
I was a bit sceptical as if this would work or not, I used to work for Saab and have replaced hundreds of manifolds for this fault - but I didn't want to spend the £200 replacing the manifold on my 160,000 mile car as I'm trying to run it as cheap as possible, this part took minuets to fit after removing the wiring to the glow plugs and it fitted perfectly - first test drive after and the car runs much better, starts better and pulls the way it used to before the old rod fell off. - highly recommend thisVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well worth the extra cost
I originally purchased a swril flap at half the price, only to find after a week it had not only fallen off the manifold, but all the connectors and screws had come off and were sitting down in the engine This part is much better quality, needed a slight bend to fit on all 4 swril flap ends flush but has stayed on with no problems Would recommend spending the extra money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
