Good value for a decent product

You can't stretch plastic!
After struggling with assembly for over 4 hours, I did some measurements and found that the nubs spacing on the vertical sections were as much as 1/2" further apart than the receptors on the horizontal sections. It is impossible to set the steps regardless of whether you tapped them with a rubber mallet or a 5 lb sledge. It's just not possible to stretch plastic. I wasted more than $100 on this poorly designed product. The trash man cometh! Better solution: buy a two step step stool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Really nice step. If you pay full price, you got robbed.
This step is very nice. Thick plastic, and beefy. However the price is kind of crazy. I bought one that was for parts and paid $50 for it. All that was missing were some screws and some rubber pads for the bottom so I could get some screws and put it together. It is worth $50-75. The only reason it sells for more is because it is related to the spa and hot tub. Also there is an even more expensive version that opens and you can store things in it. This version is the same except for some hinges and some dividers which you could easily provide and turn this into that and save a bunch of money that way as well.Verified purchase: Yes

Sturdy nice looking steps

Poor quality control before shipping.
These steps came with no instructions or hardware. It needed screws to hold it together because the plastic wedge style clips do not stay tightly in place. Also, our steps came with a used bandage strip stuck to the steps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
