This is a replacement for an old unit (from a different manufacturer) that failed recently. It's higher capacity than the one I had and although I've not yet needed to use it it certainly gives the impression of a well built and solid piece of kit. Not the cheapest on the market (or the most expensive) but Ring are a well known brand in several areas of electrical equipment and I work on the the basis that 'you get what you pay for'. These units are rather like fire extinguishers. Not very exciting but very useful when you need them.

Not had this for long so not been used to start a car yet. The product its-self is very well made and looks easy to use. One of the other things I got this for was traveling to charge my phones etc...great, works perfect with my Huawei fast charger too.
