A) EXCEPTIONAL GOOD MANUAL (10/10) Had never experienced such great assembling manual - very detailed, from many perspectives, focus points highlighted, shown WRONG cases too (how not to do) not only good case, where make extra attention. First time see in manual printed object full scale, so you can find which pipe in assembling step is to use. VERY good numbering, although you need to remember where this label [A B C D E F H] is on plastic printed item sheet - could be nice if such label appeared outside the frame. B) Manufacturing quality - EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY (10/10) Very precise plastic and rubber parts. Very pleasant to work with. C) Design - very good, but 3 weak points (8/10) Construction, part split, assembling steps and operating experience is very good, although some parts which i see not good designed, and they are: *) 2 part closing-guiding rings for pumping cylinders (attached to manual handler), some time they easy open self. Need improvement in locking mechanics -more strong. *) do some improvements on pipe attaching point on cylinders - they easy detach and let air in, and each time i re-assemble, remove air and refill they become holding weaker and weaker. Wish some clip or other joint. *) worm gear mechanics for base rotation some times is failing (stuck or making hard), with rotation delay and tend to be not precise, oiling it does not help much. My suggestion to replace with some kind of rubber tooth belt. D) Kit - very good (9/10) All kit parts are well sorted and marked. One of best i found not mentioned in descriptoins, is gripper - pressure protection cylinder. It protects from slipping out cargo item - even round glass ball, and same time protects from damaging fragile cargo items - COOL! Although few things i wish mention for kit improvement: *) metal screws are from weak metal, if you assemble multiple times, screw heads become bad. *) screws are very specific diameter with specific length AND and almost not possible to replace with other regular screws. Exact count delivered, so if any you loose or make damaged, you are stuck. WISH: use better metal and give 2..3 additional screws. *) Few screw places are quite deep in hole, you need find long screwdriver to reach. WISH: Please give in instruction exact type require screwdriver (PH0) and minimal length. *) Device base is from plastic, and rubber braking parts are requiring to put force to operate. This combination makes slipping away whole device. Although it has screw attach points to prevent slipping, it means its not very mobile after. I had made solution - attached to plywood plate with extra south-side border piece below plate, to prevent slipping. WISH: give some sucking mechanics or other way to make non-permanent attachment to table, the rubber on bottom is not enough to prevent slipping. *) FUN and experience - Exceptional (10/10) Had taken device to kid campus, almost 20 kids had tried out and got great fun. About 10 grown co-workers in IT company done too - they enjoyed too, picking plastic apples to basket. *) WISH: NEW feature for next model - extended reach please make one additional hydro cylinder and actuator for arm middle section - add at end arm LENGTH extending tubular movement. Had attached image for exact location. Thanks for very good experience and fun! I will buy other example and convert to hydro-electrical powered robot arm, due very nice mechanical properties and quality of kit. Read full review

It works ok and kids like it! It needs some time to build it but it is entertaining! The hydraulic system (the water) was something i was afraid of at the begging but, after i build it, i can say that it is ok and very easy to build. The instructions was very very well written and well understanding! And finally, it is sort of introduction to robotics for kids. If your kids like this then this is a sign that will probable like robotics such as mindstroms

This isn't the easiest thing to construct mostly due to the screwing in and requiring a lot of force to use tiny screws and micro screw drivers. There is no pre-cut thread so it's a brute force approach to screwing in. It's a good edutainment toy and worth the money for the sheer time it's taken and smile on my boys face once constructed. 7/10

Takes a good few hours to make, but definitely worthwhile. All fastens together well and very well made for the price. Educational, demonstrates very effectively how hydraulics work in a fun way. Works extremely well and impresses the family once completed, the suction attachment is not very effective, but the claws are best to use Instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

THE ENJOYMENT WAS IN THE CONSRUCTION IT'S A BIT FLIMSY BUT I SUPPOSE IT REFLECTS THE PRICE , I GAVE IT TO MY GRANDSON AND DON'T EXPECT IT TO LAST LONG HE IS EIGHT ............... BUT I DID ENJOY BUILDING IT AND HAVE NO REGRETS AT BUYING IT ....... I HAVE SENT A COUPLE OF THIS SORT OF THING BACK TO OTHER SUPPLIERS BECAUSE THE ITEM JUST DIDN'T WORK AND THE INSTRUCTION WERE TOO HARD TO FOLLOW THIS ITEM WAS VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND
