Excellent iron
This is a first class iron. It is quite heavy and takes a while to get used to but is easy to fill as the water opening is large and hinges on the side. It uses quite a bit of water but the water level on the tank is very clear and its steaming ability is excellent. It removes the hardest creases in no time. It has a very wide temperature range with an easy to read dial. It is also simple to descale. Easy to use, for the most part
My wife says that this is a great iron. Easy to use and easy to store back in it's box. The only reservation she has is that it seems a great deal heavier that the one she was used to (another Philips) - which she has had for many years. Despite this, she will continue to use the new iron and keep the other one as a spare. Overall, she would recommend this product. It will just take a little bit of time to get used to the difference in weight.
