Best phone mount I’ve had.
The release buttons on the side that open up the mounts padded arms is the best feature of this mount. You don’t have to fumble around with some spring loaded clip that barely opens enough to fit the phone. It’s ready every time you get in your car because the button on the mount makes contact with your phone as you insert it and snaps down to hug the phone in place. Also the stiff adjustable arm is a must. I’ve had many mounts with the long bendable arm that works great if your car doesn’t move while driving. Every bump would make that thing eventually face my phone downward adjusting the whole ride. But this one is nice no bouncing or tilting. Just position it, tighten it and good to go. Only lasted 6 months before it stopped holding to dash or windshield.
I ordered this item as I wanted a phone holder that didn't connect to my air vents, as phones are just too heavy for the vent's flimsy plastic. I liked that this not only could mount on the windshield, but could mount on the dashboard. It worked great on my dashboard and held well. Sadly, after 6 months, it stopped sticking to the dashboard and won't stick to the windshield either! It is now completely useless. Great Value! Best type of phone holder for my high dashboard!
If you have a veu high dash board, this phone holder would be the best fit for you because it extends further than the other types. The roads are bumpy in my country and it secures my phone during the entire ride. It literally allows you to put your phone in every possible abgle you can think of. The suction on the bottom is quite strong. Just ensure your dash board is clean before you put in on. Practical and successful

Almost There
The design is good, it sticks to my windshield good, but it cannot hold my phone which is an Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max. If the holder part could be replaced with one that is compatible with the larger screens , it would be great..This is an update, I was able to use a holder from another windshield holder that fits my phone and now it fit and works perfectly. Can be fixed to the windshield or the dashboard. I bought 3 of these; 1 for my commuting car, 1 for my SUV and 1 for my girlfriend's SUV. Totally worth it, and very versatile.
I have a dashcam with an oddly-shaped case. The windshield mount provided didn't provide enough clearance for the power and backup camera cables which led me on a search for a better mount, and that's when I found this top-seller. GOOD: Aside from the price, what really caught my eye was the telescoping arm, something I hadn't seen on a mount like that before. Not only is the arm extendable, but the pivot has divots that enable you to feel when it is being tilted. The "hand" of the mount has extendable grips the open in unison as well as an adjustable side support to keep your device secure. The back of the hand is your typical ball-joint which is greatly flexible, although you can't pivot the hand 180 degrees in all aspects (nor should you need to). The windshield mount has a push-button lock which provides a stronger grip than those which you simply moisten and stick on the windshield. BAD: As I bought this to secure my dashcam, it did not fully hold it in place. In some aspects it could, but I know that if I were to hit a bump, the fingers would drop the dashcam. Keep in mind that my dashcam is not a perfect rectangle, and instead it's body has a roof-like flange from the rear causing it to not fit securely. As long as you use a typical cellphone, mp3 player or GPS device here, basically a nice-shaped rectangle; rest assured your device should be VERY secure and in place. CONCLUSION: I can see why this is a great seller, and I'm happy ot own and use it. I had purchased a static windshield mount that has an arced mount, but quickly I broke the mount by overtightening it. Thankfully the "hand" with the ball joint was interchangeable with this unit. Now I'm able to use the ball joint mount with the flat surface, apply the surface to my dashcam, and apply the entire mount to my car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good with traditional problems
Having tried many it is a good product for its type These problems are common to all the units I have tried its cons are-- over time the weight of phone make the suction mount get looser if the windows are closed on a hot day the "sticky" glue used melts rendering it useless I have to use 3m cups to avoid this glue problem on the windows hard to get offVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best one so far!
I purchased this Cellphone holder with hopes that it actually would stick on my dash, however just like the holders that I previously purchased, after a while I found it on my floor. That’s the bad news, but hold on because I have some good news too! So since it wouldn’t stick on my dash I decided to try it on my window, in some of the hottest weather of the summer...and low and behold it hasn’t come off, not even once! So here’s the bottom line, over all it’s a great cellphone holder if you stick it on your window, but I wouldn’t advise anyone to put it on any other surface unless it’s completely flat.
