I'm only giving it a FOUR STAR because when it arrived it was granulated / grainy. But this doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it, it's just the way the fats have settles. You can amend this by very gently heating the shea butter in a glass bowl, which is inside a saucepan of water. Wait until it has turned to liquid and then whisk with fork for three minutes while still warm. Then put in small glass jar and put in freezer for one hour. Your shea butter will then come out feeling as soft and smooth as silk... mine did. So yeah FOUR stars for this butter as it is extremely good quality!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Keeps hands very soft in the morning
I bought this organic Shea butter for my daughter who has eczema on back of hands she's does not like the smell but I put some on her hands before going to sleep and the next morning her back of hands was much healed and smooth. I have terribly dry skin and this product has saved my skin! It keeps me moisturised from when I apply it up until my next shower, and where I am it is currently winter, so that alone says a lot! You also do not need to microwave it. Just rub a bit in your hands and the warm of your hands will melt it before you apply. Cannot recommend it enough.
