I bought these as my son was recommended to use them with his new Ortho retainers. I have a night guard that I have used denture sterilising tablets on and it had gone cloudy looking (I now know I shouldn’t have used denture tablets) I thought I will use retainer brite to stop it getting worse but it has actually made them look like new again! Thought the old packaged type were good as you knew when your retainer was clean just by looking at the water. You need to time it now, so I don't see any advantage to buying these over others on the market. I will shop around to see if I can find any that change colour next time. Also not sure that they clean as well as my retainer has started to look cloudy (maybe leaving it in too long). Unfortunately I bought the very large box so it could be a while.

I had some samples before that I used before deciding to buy this. I clean my Invisalign retainers with it. I found Brite tablets very good at keeping my retainer clean, In the past I used to use just soap to clean the retainers but they became yellow/brown-ish and cloudy, actually quite disgusting to look at. I let them soak in the Brite solution for more than the recommended 15min and did this twice and not they look almost like brand new again.

He then drops a tablet in cold water and immerses the retainers for the day - rinses and wears again.
