I thought it would be worth paying more for Yale
I was expecting really good quality having payed extra for a Yale branded product. Although the quality of the actual hardware is good this product has a serious design flaw. The box itself is a very good quality cast item with visible digits on the tumbler. The only 'poor' part is the pack of fixing screws - smaller diameter than the holes and short - which wouldn't give a particularly secure fixing if used. Well designed and well built. Surprisingly large - including the surround (so check that the space you intend to install in/on is large enough). Numbers on dials not the easiest to read. Fed up with ham fists!
We have holiday cottages and have always used the push button ones, it seems to escape our guests that the code has to be put in again in order to replace the pad, this normally leads to them trying to pound it back in!
