The onboard amplifier is a 325 watts RMS, 820+ watts peak power. All accessible with a single touch. Fibre composite cone with exceptional stiffness-to-mass ratio moves massive amounts of air while being able to rapidly stop or start ensuring crisp accurate tuneful bass reproduction.
I've ordered this subwoofer and started regretting. It looks so small than I've ever expected. I was thinking about either sending it back or buying a second subwoofer as an additional because I'm a bass greed. I've thought it was a sheer rubbish sound-wise and a cash waste. Moreover, my surround speakers I've ordered were delaying to arrive without which I couldn't play this beast.
Suddenly mini speakers arrived and then, boom boom!!! Look, I've got a 12inch ported subwoofer in my car but this beats it. This is a little giant that spews out tones of deep heavy and solid tight bass!!
I dare open it to its full potential because my flat is very small plus I'm next to 3 flats as neighbours. I'm even having headaches every time this damn little thing starts to rumble. The impact is body shaking!! It's literally shaking the building and I'm afraid I'll soon get neighbours complaining. The other half isn't that impressed though.
You will not be disspointed with this sub, 300w of RMS power shakes my letterbox, very impressive deep bass, I'm no expert but compared to my previous Sony 80w sub, well actully there is no comparison. Nice compact design owing to sealed speaker design. Not heard a ported version but in my medium size room this one is good. Make sure to run your Audessey speaker setup routine in your AV receiver to tune this bad boy in. Vastly improved the sound after I did it.
