This is the 4th MyBook we've bought and so far they have been excellent. Very quiet and fast enough for the back ups they are being used for. The 6Tb seems to be the best value in the UK for some reason, would have preferred an 8Tb but it was much more expesive. Would recommend.

I have several WD external HDD's, they have been ultra reliable, I also have a couple of bare WD drives that have also proved themselves. The usb3 data throughput has also improved dramatically. Very pleased, John.

External drives are not particularly attractive but the WD drive is as good as any I've seen and the 6 TB case is quite small and tucks away neatly. The software backup system is easy to set up and so far works fine so recommend this product.
