Great little epilator
I have had several different epies over the years. I recently bought another make that seemed to be more or less the same (without so many extras) but was a lot less money. Mistake. It was no good and I sent it back for a refund. Incidentally this was with Amazon and sending something back and actually getting the refund is nowhere near as easy as on eBay. Anyway, I decided to go back to a Braun and in the meantime used my old old Braun that had discoloured through age but still worked better. This new one is brilliant ! Its easy to use and the way the head moves and glides is so much nicer than the old fixed head. I probably won’t use all the extra heads, but with the seller it was still better value than lesser ones. The tweezers are very efficient and work on all parts of the body. Now to the pain. Well I think I have a high pain threshold because I would say it doesn’t really hurt that much at all. But then I said that about my tattoos and nobody seems to agree with me ! The only place which was a little ouch was under the arms. Just go for it and don’t think its going to hurt ! Keep going. As you get used to it it is less and less. The charge lasts a long time and I can do all I need in one charge. It charges quickly. Altogether I am very happy with this Braun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lot of money for not a lot of use
I specifically bought it as it can be used on the face. My chin is full of bristles which I tweezer out as soon as I can see or feel them and my chin ends up a mess. However I found this epilator was no good on my chin although the razor that comes in the pack is lovely to use - very light and efficient but obviously it doesn't pull the hair roots out. The epilator is fine for legs and armpits but I'll probably never use all the attachments in the box so it isn't good value for me. Love it
This does exactly what it says it is supposed to. It is painful at first if your not used to it but it's so much better than shaving and lasts longer. This was also £100 cheaper than I found anywhere else which was a great bargain. Love all the extra bits too and the light is lovely and bright so you don't miss any hairs. The rose gold colour is really petty and love the subtle glitter in the handle makes it look very feminine and sleek. The different attachments make using it on different areas easier and less painful. The bikini trimmer comes with it's own little bag and attachment too and is rather powerful. Don't be put off by such a cheap price as this it the genuine Braun product.

Baby soft skin
This is my second epilator by Braun, they last for years, just wanted to update my model, just love them great product. Grabs the shortest of hairs, which other products struggle with, the exfoliation brush is brilliant, left my skin feeling soft. Pricey but WOW!
Bought the Braun Silk-epil 9 sensoSmart to replace my old one, also a Silk-epil model, that recently died- after 8 years loyal service... I checked online reviews for the best epilator 2018 and this kept coming up so I went for it. It’s pricey, no two ways about it but if your budget can stretch that far, do it- you WILL NOT regret it! I’ve waxed and epilated for years so I’m ok with the sensation but I tried with the massage head as well and I could barely feel the hairs coming out. Using it with the close contact head has given me the smoothest result I’ve EVER had with any other form of hair removal- it’s like I’ve shaved my legs! I’m utterly amazed and very impressed. A high quality product that works well
The Epil 9 is widely described as the best on the market. It is will made and very efficient. However epilation is obviously an acquired art and the skin needs time to adapt. Be prepared for the pain during first use and the reddening that follows. The first is bearable and the second soon resolves. Worth every penny
Had an exfoliator years ago and was so painful. After much research decided to try this one. Hardly any pain at all. The more you use it the better it gets. Saving me a fortune on razors. Only used once so far.
Have only used once (in the bath), and did not hurt as much as I expected. I do not think the hair was long enough on my legs but was probably too long on my arms so I trimmed those first.
