To my surprise after bad experiences with other suppliers, both the micro SD card and 2 adapters Inc Macbook Air SD adapter are fully compatible and work at the expected performance levels. Copied 70gb of data from Macbook Air SSD onto card in just over 1 hour. That's good performance. Considering it only cost £12.99, I'm vert pleased.
