Awkward if you need to use more than one.
The wick needs to be at least twice a s long so that a) it protrudes from the container rim and b) so that it takes longer to ignite.I needed to use three, I couldn't light the fuse at all with a match and had to use a gas blowtorch!! Even then the first one started before I could light the third and evacuate. It was however 100% effective in dealing with a wasps' nest in a large loft volume.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Flatters to deceive a bit.
Used to tackle a wasps nest in my attic. Be aware that you are paying extra for a big, nicely printed, almost empty, tin. Inside is a small / tiny separate candle - you can buy them elsewhere. I suppose it is safer to leave the lit candle inside a tin - but any old tin would have the same effect in my opinion. The tin looks big and impressive but it only contains a small candle. The tin looks the part though...I'm sure it scared the wasps to death. However, to be fair, the candle / fumes did work fairly well when lit and left. I think any of the small 'wasp fumigator candles' would probably work just as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wasp nest in the loft
It does what it says it kills wasps with out danger to yourself, make sure all exits in loft/roof are sealed as best as possible place it as near to nest as possible safe, on something like baking tray light it and let the smoke fumigator do the rest, If its a big loft/roof area it might need two, they are a little bit on the dear side maybe the more you buy they might do a dealVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked well

Total waste of money.
The pictured metal tin contains a much smaller, tiny plastic item. The wick/fuse is very hard to ignite. Then only the fuse burnt, and did not ignite the smoke chemicals. Total waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did not work
We bought it for a wasps nest in the loft. Was shocked at the small size of the bomb, hardly bigger that a tea light. Set it off close to the nest and retreated from the loft ASAP. Has not made an iota of difference. A waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
