Does what it says on the package

I read the details, the instructions, and watched the video. Id bought a used car, not new 74k on the clock, and an inspection revealed an oil leak. I couldnt pinpoint the leak, even after cleaning the area with solvent, but it was engine oil. After adding a bottle of AT-205, drove the car to and from a weekend break, 2 hours each way. When I took the shroud off the bottom, NO NEW OIL. I checked really closely for any new amount of oil, but nothing. I would have seen it down the side of the pan. I was amazed and impressed, but mostly relieved I woudn't have to tear an engine down. Thanks ATP Automotive it WORKS.

    Will try second bottle

I bought two bottles of this product. I have used one and it didn't work so its a couple weeks later and I am going to use the second bottle and see if it stops my oil leak. Was told by mechanic it was rear main seal & also they did work on my Oil pan gasket which seems to still be leaking. At this point, what do I have to loose?

  • Worked in my old Jeep and my old Honda Civic Engine Oil Leaks

I read a zillion reviews about just how wonderful this stuff was so I had to see for myself with my newly purchased old Honda Civic with 191K miles and my trusty Jeep GCL with 186K miles. Both had oil oozing out of the engine in various spots as both cars were 1997 and 1998 models. Old tired engines. I had already tried the thick Lucas oil stuff on my Jeep and it did not really work. I tried this AT-205 on my Honda. I poured 1/2 bottle into the engine and drove about an hour one day and then drove about 20 miles one way to a nearby city and 20 miles back. No more oil engine leak coming out of the Honda!! The Jeep didn't get driven as much as I just poured the other half of the bottle into the crankcase and let her sit for 2 days and then drove around 10 miles on local errands. No more oil leak in the Jeep. I was skeptical when I saw just how thin this stuff was. It was like pouring water into the engine!!! BUT was I ever impressed when I placed a huge piece of blank cardboard under the Honda and no more leaks. The engine had been wet on the bottom probably from a main seal leak for years. But now the cardboard is unmarked by anything!!! You can use in tranny and power steering but NOT BRAKES!!!! Another site has 109 pages of testimony and about 80% are positive so you know this stuff really works. I want to get another bottle for the Honda tranny to make sure the seals are supple and it keeps shifting properly. Now I see why local auto stores do not carry this as all their leak stoppers are strictly snake oil and I thought Lucas was the end all. HA is all I have to say about Lucas I'll just buy AT-205 from now on.

  • Appears to have resolve leaking valve cover gasket issue.

I'm not much into these kind of quick fix products, but occasionally after doing some research and reading many reviews, I figured I'll take the chance just to see what if anything it may or may not do. Figuring $18.00~$20.00 verses a $600.00 repair shop bill to replace a valve gasket for a very small leak, I'll give it a shot. After two oil changes adding a bottle of this each time, the minor leak appears to have completely stopped. So I'm very pleased with the results. The only other product I found that in my opinion really works great is TufOil. I have been using this for over 10 years now. Every time I change oil and filter (every 5,000 miles). My 2006 Caravan has over 265,000 miles and runs quiet, smooth and has plenty of peep.

  • I was skeptical

Figured I would give it a shot rather than spend a few hundred dollars on a new power steering pump. Let me just say it's only been four days, but this stuff is an absolute miracle in my opinion as of right now. It was pouring out figured there's no way it's going to fully stop it, but it actually did. Now I'm going to try some in my other car's oil which is dripping bad. CRAZY

  • IT JUST WORKS!!!!!

I saw this stuff while looking through you tube clips, in fact, it was a fella named Scotty Kilmer who endorsed the product in his video segment. So anyway, I figured what the heck, what do I have to lose let me order a bottle. All I can say is that I am very happy that I gave this stuff a chance! Here is my example; the power steering pump (PSP) on my car was bone dry and whining! So I added PSP fluid, and the next day after driving, roughly fourteen miles, it was half empty! I added more PSP fluid while waiting on this product to arrive. Again, the next I drove the same mileage, with the same results. I did this same exact thing, one more day, before this stuff arrived in the mail. Well, all I did was top off my PSP with this product that night, and drove the next day, anticipating the same results when I went to check my fluid level. Well, to my amazement, it was just below the low mark! So I added that much more to top it off, and that was the last time I had to add any more fluids to my PSP!! That was about three months ago now. All I can say is that I am sold on this product, and I hope that if you give it a try you end up with the same satisfied results. My next project is to add this to my engine oil to see if I get the same outcome. I am avoiding changing the oil pan gasket, we shall see, but it worked on my PSP, and for that reason I am SOLD!

  • Works as advertised

Purchased a 1997 Ford Expedition with 5.4L Triton engine. Leaks everywhere, front and rear main seal, transmission and power steering unit. This was a project vehicle just for therapy but soon realized I was in way over my head with changing out the seals. Saw this product advertised on YOUTUBE and decided to give it a try. It works, plain and simple. I did manage to change out the spark plugs and ignition coils, added this sealer to oil change, topped off transmission and power steering reservoir. Have put a little over 3 hours driving time into the vehicle and now, no drips of fluid onto the driveway. Amazing stuff that reconditions old seals if they are just dry and old. It will not work on damaged seals that are cut or torn but on dried out seals it does what it says it will do. Sure beats hours of maintenance to drop a transmission and all the other labor involved in changing out seals. If you are having problems with leaking seals I would try this first before going all out to change them. Clear instructions on the bottle with recommended application and amounts. All in all a very good purchase.

  • Good product

I followed the directions and added the proper amount with a oil change in my 2002 Ford Focus ZX5 with 159700 miles. It did have a oil leak but after adding the AT205 it now just has a drip or two. I own 2 cars and trade off driving them. It keeps them happy!

  • Great stuff, save you hundreds

After pouring whole bottle, drive straight 100 to 200 miles in one go or it will take atleast 2 full tanks of gas if you drive short trips. it will work great for sure. WILL NOT WORK IF GASKET/SEAL IS BROKEN. I USED on 06 odyssey, had rear valve cover gasket leak. Fixed after 2 to 400 miles. Great stuff. Give it a shot before paying mechanic
