Great quality product - don't compromise on cost
This parasol base is exactly as advertised. Good quality. Heavy and robust. I bought it so I could use my parasol without having to get my garden table out. As the base is heavy, I've bought a 'dolley' to put it on. It's usually used to put kitchen appliances on, to move them round easily. It has locking and unlocking caster wheels. I can move it around on my patio then lock it in place without having to lift the heavy base. It's just a good tip to think about. rock solid, top value
really pleased with this granite base, holds our huge parasol (4.6m x 2.7m) with ease, and is heavy enough to aleviate any swaying in the breeze too. it comes mounted on 4 nylon feet (non-adjustable) which means the granite is not in direct contact with the ground. it also incorporates 2 resesses to make picking it up easier. another nice touch is the 2 retaining screws (most I saw have only 1) for that little bit of extra securityVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just the job
Wasn't sure whether this was going to be suitable for my new 2.7m parasol but it is. It's heavy and perfect for the job. Judging by what look like a couple of little repair jobs I would say these are probably 'seconds' (read in the reviews a similar comment re. a repair). Anyway I am very happy with the product, which is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
