Mostly good
Mostly a nice piece for home use, but clearly not a pro-level item. Power and reset buttons on front panel are not recessed nor guarded, so they're easier to bump than I'd like. PSU must be a 80mm fan type. 120mm fans are mounted against the top or bottom (depending on which way you put the PSU in the case) and will get no airflow if you don't align the vents and have nothing above/below the case. That's the way of a 2u case with a commodity PSU, typical problem of the breed. Installing drives is a bit wonky. You don't really want to have to service this, get it running and ideally leave it alone. But coupled with an AM1-M, Athlon 5350, 8gb of DDR3, and a small SSD and it's a lovely home server for a home site and for serving out from the NAS.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good case for the right application
Start with the wrong applications: You don't want to do compute with this. Can't handle a board that has a bunch of cpu and memory, because it's mATX/ITX. You also don't want to lay on it for an NAS, because while it will technically hold 4x3.5" drives, it's a stretch and likely will block access on the board for connectors. That said? Just about perfect for a pfsense setup, pihole, that sort of thing. I've got two, one running an A5350 system for pfsense, and another with some random supermicro C32 board with a hex-core 3ghz on it, a trio of 2T drives, and it's basically a mini NAS for my network for minor use. Runs NAS4Free nicely, and gives me a non-important place for the drives that failed testing in the big NAS (12x2T drives with NAS4Free). My big complaint with these cases is that the power and reset buttons are proud of the panel. So not usable in an environment with pets, kids, or spouses with a button-pushing bent. And that's just on purpose, you can still bump them accidentally. No concerns if your rack setup has doors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fits a full ATX board if you use an SFX power supply
This chassis will fit a full-sized ATX board if you use an SFX power supply with an adapter plate that will clear the motherboard. Obviously the standoffs for the bottom edge of the ATX board won't be there -- but you can get stick-on versions, or just go without them. Build quality is fine for the price. The drive cages are a bit annoying -- if you want to put a bunch of drives in a case, you shouldn't buy this one. Cooling is 3x80mm fans which is more than enough, and since they are a standard size you can buy quiet fans. Rear exhaust is provided by the power supply.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bad Design - Cheap screw that strip - drive holders that are useless
Pros: Short rack depth, no front bays Cons: the 3 drive holders are helding with cheap screws. 3 of the screw stripped out and I had to use a dremel to slot the screw and take it out. The screws are cheap, not deep enough and strip really easy. The 3 drive holders are not the same. 1 holds 2 drives and the other 2 hold only once. The 1 that holds two drive has 0 air clearance between the drives

Great 2U chassis for custom 2U builds
This is a great 2U chassis. It is sturdy, well built, well organized and thought of. Few notes: 1. You will need a microATX board, be mindful of that. 2. The fans are simple, cheap 80mm fans with MOLEX connector. no PWM, no control, no readouts. 3. Be mindful with the CPU cooler you use, you need one that fits a small form factor due to height constraint.
