  • Best squirrel trap EVER!

This trap received so many great reviews I couldn’t pass it up when I was looking for a solution to my squirrel problem. Once I bought the bait from the feed store (chicken scratch) I started catching squirrels left and right. 5 at once the very first afternoon. First tip (from the feed store clerk who has 3 traps): make sure you keep a lot of bait in it and place the feed where they can’t grab at it from outside the trap. Second tip: keep the trap in shady areas. Squirrels apparently don’t do well in the sun, even for short time periods. I highly recommend this product and I’m very happy with it. It’s well made, very durable and easy to use.

  • The Squirrelinator works like nothing I've ever tried

The Squirrelinator is the only way I have found to get rid of squirrels. I tried poison pellets, netting around my fruit trees and even an AirSoft pellet gun but the rodents kept returning. They bit through the netting and devasted the trees. I finally got the Squirrelinator after watching videos on YouTube. I thought I only had a handful of squirrels coming to my yard but so far I've caught 86 in less than a year. The basin is another story. I read about how they arrived broken. Some people mentioned that they used to have rubber basins but now use thin plastic. Mine arrived with seven cracks in it, rendering it unusable. At least the traps work. I put a handful of peanuts in a corner of the trap and one just inside each gate every morning. The squirrels learn to push the gate and stick their head in for a peanut. After eating the bait they go right back and crawl in for more, unable to get out.

  • Don't doubt this!

OK...I had doubts to spend this much, BUT soooo worth it. Not a joke. I'm the biggest skeptic but this trap is AWESOME! fantastic! Got rid of two already and now I'm saving my lawn and flower beds from a ton of holes and dying from exposed roots! Do yourself a favor buy the and make sure you have the tray that usually comes with it (make sure). It helps a lot in removal of the varmint!

  • It works

I have used the Squirrelinator for several weeks now and have been able to reduce the population to a point where damage is quite low for most days. About 30 have been captured so far. It took a while to find out what would work. Peanuts in the shell laced with apple cider vinegar do the trick for Eastern Fox Tree Squirrels.

  • Good design & construction

I bought this as a companion to a Havahart trap since I'm having problems with other creatures (rats & birds) stealing bait from the Havahart. Use case is residential ground squirrel control. Since deployed I have only caught a single ground squirrel in the Squirrelinator (as opposed to two in the Havahart). Conversely I've had no untargetted catches in the Squirrelinator while having two untargetted catches in the Havahart. So that is 4 catches in the Havahart 2 ground squirrels, 2 other species) vs 1 catch (ground squirrel) in the Squirrelinator over the same time period. I like the fact that I haven't had to deal with untargetted catches in the Squirrelinator and that bait theft hasn't been a problem. I just hope the catch rate increases as the ground squirrel population picks up over the summer.

  • Really great!

I caught squirrels daily until I felt like I squashed the population in my back yard. I also caught a magic woodchuck. He made it in the trap...I have no idea how.

  • NO FAIL TRAP

great trap works every time where others fail. had a 2 door presure activated trap the squirrel would not trip the trap. put in the squrillinator that i had borrowed from a freind caught the squrril the first time. so i purchased one for myself. great value and a great catch rate.

  • works great

It is a good trap and trapped a squirrel the first night. Unfortunately we have coyotes also and they tore the trap up getting to the squirrel. Nothing that can't be fixed and no one's fault. It happens when you live with wildlife

  • It definitely works

I have not caught 25 but I have gotten two at once. Interestingly they died of fright and I did not have to drown them.
