A piece of historic motor racing in miniature
This model kit representation of the early days of Grand Prix racing is very highly detailed, and will build into a museum quality display piece. Italeri have even moulded the louvers on the engine hood and sides with the slots just like punched metal would be. There are red plastic components, as well as chrome parts some parts are not plastic such as rubber tyres, vinyl hoses, and even tiny nuts and screws, as well as a choice of number decals or pre-cut masks to spray paint the numbers on just like the real car.This car represents the one that the legendary racing driver Nuvolari drove to many victories, and will be a centre piece of my collection .

Challenging
Makes into a very detailed model but does require a lot of patience. I’m an experienced modeller but I still got frustrated at times fiddling with the plug leads, tiny screws and minuscule nuts. I would recommend using a modellers headset with built in magnifying lenses , if I hadn’t the model would have been impossible. Having said all that I was pleased with the final result.
