Works Very Well
I have used a few different brands and keep coming back to this one. I buy for my family member who was put on Lithium Carbonate. They were prescribed a high dose of LC (because with the prescription form you have to take an almost toxic amount in or for it to be at “therapeutic levels”) They had bad side effects and had to lower their dose because it wasn’t well tolerated, Now they take Kal Lithium Orotate along with fish oil (for Omega 3 and to protect the kidneys) with vitamin E and don’t have all the side effects. They also don’t have to have their lithium levels constantly monitored any more. Their doctor is aware they are taking LO and are supportive of it. Search Jonathan V. Seems to work quite nicely. I've heard a lot of good things about it and how it nourishes the brain. It's an all natural supplement unlike lithium carbonate which has side effects and is more like a drug. I've heard 7-up was once a lithium drink. I also know people would go to certain natural springs high in lithium and lose their mental problems. Some were very serious like schizophrenia.
