On par with other wireless cameras but does have issues. We tested three brands and were able to work around and gain access due to lag time between activation and time until it resets and records again. Option is get full time record, issue is storage space needed to due this or monthly fee to record online. Okay for what it is.
For the price this system is pretty good. I have Arlo Pro and Pro 2 cameras. The 720 pro footage is good for identifying a vehicle but people are pixelated. The 1080 Pro 2 camera still delivers far less than 1080 footage. Maybe if I record straight to a local drive the footage would be okay, but I expect 1080 from the cloud because the device says it can deliver that. My pro 2 camera pictures are listed & that’s what you can realistically expect to see live stream or recorded to cloud. For the money I still recommend the system but don’t expect to view 1080 streams. As far as battery goes they do very well, after a week of playing with the system and having it armed to record motion 12-15 hours a day I have 92-94% battery left.

Good but pricy cameras

Good Hardware
I like the cameras, I got two of them. The base station and the cameras worked right out of the box. But I'm having a problem with the Arlo app on my phone. When I activate the geofencing it should disarm the system but it hasn't been of late. I'm having to manually disarm it. Also, trying to bring in another phone to share on the system was a total failure. Didn't do well with tech support, couldn't understand the Indian dialect. But other than that the system is great and the price is great! Maybe in the near future Arlo will send out an update to clean out any bugs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product!
This is a great camera and very easy to use. I went with the wireless camera because I didn’t have anywhere to outside to wire a camera system. Being that it’s wireless it does have some drawbacks that a wired camera system wouldn’t have. You can’t get automatic 24/7 recording unless you wire your Arlo. But overall it’s a great camera and the sensor recording is awesome. I just wish the sensor would continue to record the whole tile it senses movement instead of just recording small multiple clips. Overall I’m very happy with my Arlo Pro 2.

Great camera system. Very easy to set up.
This is a great entry level camera system. Completely plug and play. If you can plug stuff in, push a few buttons, and are capable of using an app on your phone... you are good to go! I bought this system to replace my old VMB3000 base station and it's original, ancient Arlo cameras. Happily, the new system is backwards compatible with the old cameras. Of course, the older cameras are still just 720p resolution, while the new ones are 1080p HD resolution. On your phone you won't notice the difference. Annoyed
There expensive, good video when they stay on. I have vesky cameras video quality is not as good, but they stay on and they don't mute when you talk. Arlo mutes after you say something.
