This nebulizer works as good if not better than my old 5 lb nebulizer. The Mist is very fine and steady it does not spit. It is perfect and it's wonderful that you can travel with it. You can use it with the cigarette lighter opening in your vehicle. You can plug it in the wall. You can purchase a battery for it to make it fully portable.(I plan to do that). It comes with everything necessary to use it, other than the battery. . It works better than the Phillips Respironics I was provided by Lincare. My treatment lasts 15-20 min. I haven't had a problem with over-heating. I take it everywhere with me. It's compact, easy to carry. It comes with a case which is too small to be useful. The manual is easy to understand. This device was physician recommended for a particular nebulized medication we were using. We were shocked that such a small and relatively quiet device, in comparison to other portable aerosol nebulizers, vaporized the medicine so quickly and so quietly. It also allows us to use the device while the child travels in the car. This particular device was purchased as a back up to the original for travel. Aerosol nebulizers are not all the same.
