This machine is well made, and is easy to operate using both hands. I was able to split logs as fast as I could get them on the machine. I would estimate I could split 10 to 15 logs in a minute easily. Don't be fooled, this is a heavy bit of kit and allthough it's on wheels, is heavy to move about. It took me the best part of an hour to assemble the wheeled frame and the instructions aren't that great. It would help if there were 2 people, one to assemble the frame, and the other to lift the machine onto it. Good bit of kit though, would definitely recommend it for domestic use.
