Tall oscillating heater
This product is good value for money, but it seems a bit top heavy and wobbles a lot. So definitely needs solid level floor. I got it to replace an old oil heater, and it does the job well. Radiates plenty of heat, but mine had some parts missing.
On full power this radiates a fair bit of heat - be careful not to put it too close to anything. If you had a toasting fork you could cook crumpets on this (not recommended). Only problem I had was that the screws to attach the cable storage lugs were missing. Not a safety problem, and I don't really need it, so I'm not really concerned. Needs a little self assembly: basically attaching the foot and cable storage lugs (if you've got the screws). Make sure you remove the two projecting screws in the base before you fit the foot, because you need them to hold the foot on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Inexpensive energy saving infra red heater
Infra red heater which heats the body rather than the air. Cheap on electricity. Easy to assemble just need to fix base on and cable holder. Just need a posidrive screw driver. Two heat settings and oscillates if required. Need to stand on a solid surface and out of the way of young children and dogs as it can easily be knocked over. Bought this to allow us to turn our cent...
Bought this to allow us to turn our central heating down later in the day when we are watching TV.Found it on the higher setting with oscillation to be just too warm (although only 1kw) on the floor immediately in front of the heater.So turned it to the lower setting without the rotation.This worked better for us and did keep the room warm, allowing the central heating to be turned down as planned,so it works for us.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good heat output, light weight, and cheaper than most to run.
Really good at heating a room, you can feel the heat when you are feet away, I'm sitting 10 feet away and I can feel the heat and that's on the low setting of 500 watts, the 1000 watts is really good aswell, but haven't used that because it's not cold enough at the moment, but infrared heaters are good at heating and cheaper than other forms of heating, the only thing I don't like is that's it for occasional use, I've had it on for hours at a time, but I suppose I wouldn't like to leave it on all night, but it's portable aswell so you can move it from room to room, it's also very light, so overall I'm really pleased.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
