The Handy THPMT Petrol Mini Tiller is lightweight, easy to use and most importantly an efficient garden tool. The soft grip section of the handle has been located to enable easy transport of the tiller, making it easy to move the tiller from the shed to worksite or from 1 section of your garden to another.
It looks to be sturdy and well designed. I'm looking forward to using it.
I have not used the product yet, so my review is limited. Though the cardboard box was slightly damaged, the product included all of its parts and I've assembled it.
Short review.. It tills fine. My problem is the build quality.. I didn't realise when I was using it that some of the hex bolts were missing!!
I thought "Had they worked their way loose and dropped on my plot?" Luckily I took photo's before I even filled it up with fuel and no... They are missing!!
Only 2 hex bolts (should be 4) in the Starter Assembly ( Part TH127-35E)..
I now have a machine that I can't start as the starter assembly has failed and the spring is bust as it self tightened along with the screw inside the Starter Assy... Result? A tiller I can't start..Total usage time?? 2hrs from new (approx.. Probably less)
It arrived and was assembled in minutes you need to read the instructions as to the choke, as the plastic cover seems to be marked up reverse to all my other petrol equipment.
I mixed the fuel which again I had to read the instructions for the ratio of 2 stroke mix as the cap isn't marked up but was easily rectified with a sticker. I fuelled up and I started the machine and then I was off throwing soil everywhere it dug to a good depth and tried to pull off when it hit a stone or 2 but no problems controlling it.
The tiller certainly broke the soil and it was easily levelled with a rake you will find that you walk over the newly dug soil but at the end you just run the machine back over it in reverse.
I used this flat out for 20mins on the first use and I used 1 tank of fuel during this use
Happy digging
