Started listening to this album ( along with Black oak Arkansas " when electricity came to Arkansas" and Alice Cooper " Killer" albums ) at 5 yrs. old. I would sneak into my brothers room and listen over and over. I love Dickie, Duane, and Gregg but to me the one who shined on this album was Barry on bass. Whipping Post is Best!
This is an interesting collection of just seven tunes. It's a live recording from 1971 when both Duane and Gregg Allman were still with the group. The 23 minute version of Whipping Post is worth the buy while all six of the other songs are bonuses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
