This is how Bergen was created. Similar to the smaller version of Matilda, but still different. Bergen has three places to carry an ax and two pockets for a saw or knife. You can attach pockets or gloves to the MOLLE/PALS hidden on the front.

Versatile daypack
A usefully sized pack. Lots of features that make it quite versatile as a general daypack and suitable for bushcraft too. It is small so limited for overnight camping in anything but very warm weather. The side pockets are larger than they appear and will take a usgi canteen, cup and stove/stand with room to wedge accessories around it. The lid pocket does not expand upwards so really suited to small items like note pads or a gps handset. The central rear pocket is pretty big. I can get a poncho shelter plus first aid items and fire kit in it. This pack comes in some interesting colours too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
