Absolutely fantastic
This used to be the best series on tv so a must to now buy this last series on DVD. Glad to hear someone as big as Netflix has brought the rights to this lovely production of British story telling. Giving it more prestige will undoubtedly bring it a global success. They have made a cracking series. Hopefully there will be more to come. The final season of a great historical drama

An exciting and fascinating look at the making of the English nation. Not in the least bit 'dry' full of action, the sword play and acting is of the highest quality so the whole is realistic and thoughourly believeable. A wonderful series. I Wasn't bothered about watching this but so many friends told me how great it was so I gave it a go. The first episode made me feel queasy as it was so gory but by the second episode I was hooked. In fact I watched the whole lot back to back over 2 evenings. Although it is a dramatisation it is quite accurate on the history (as far As we know).
