Emotions run wild in the mind of a little girl who is uprooted from her peaceful life in the Midwest and forced to move to San Francisco in this Pixar adventure. Young Riley was perfectly content with her life when her father landed a new job in San Francisco, and the family moved across the country. Now, as Riley prepares to navigate a new city and attend a new school, her emotional headquarters becomes a hot bed of activity. Great film for all ages
Dvd is fun for all the family, our 2 year old loves it and so does her 85 year old Great Grandparents. My least favourite Disney DVD
Sadly this is not one of my top 100 Disney films, I just didn't connect with it at all and still think Joy's hair should've been red or orange to differ from Sadness. This film was recommended to me as I work with children developing their emotional health. Younger children (under 7) may not get the message of the film but I think would still find it entertaining as would those who have no interest in this subject. The main characters, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are at the control centre of 11 year old Riley's mind.
