    More Power to your elbow

I use this nail puller combined with a Roughneck demolition bar to take pallets apart. The nail puller works so much better than any of the claw hammers I have and leaves more wood nail free. Helps save on the saw blades later too. I would recommend this tool to any one fed up with claw hammers pulling the top off nails and leaving the rest of the nail in the pallet. Very well made too.

    Nail Remover

The Slide hammer is a bit of a sloppy fit, it's tolerances should be tightened up, which would give it a more solid quality feel in use and more realistic costing as although Its a very useful tool. I felt it a bit pricey for the unwarranted sloppy tolerance slide hammer. PS. I am an Engineer.

  • A sturdy and useful piece of kit that does what it's suppose to do.

I saw this tool on a YouTube video after I Googled how to remove nails from decking. It's still hard work but would have been impossible without it. It takes a little practice but will even remove the ridged sure -grip nails. The damage to the wood is no more than you would get by any other method and is less than you might think. I would strongly recommend it to anyone that has to remove a lot of nails for example taking pallets apart, to re-use the timber, and even if it's only for one big job like me having to remove decking boards that had been put down using a nail gun. It's quite heavy and robust: I doubt you'll be able to break it, so this should be a one off purchase and a useful addition to your tool box, and I'll bet very few of your friends will have one.

  • Brilliant Kit

Works really well. At first glance you may think it a bit poor quality but it works really well. I bought it to dismantle a shed which was built with some serious machine nails and the puller got them all. You have to position the jaws just right - either side of the nail head and give it a couple of good slams to get the jaws in place. Once you do this it locks on to the nail head and you can lever the nail out. I did finish the nails off with a crowbar but the puller did exactly what it was designed to do. Very little damage to the workpiece other than some splintering where the nails were.

  • faithful nail puller this is the only tool to remove hard nails that been put in with a nail gun

this really good tool is the only tool to remove nails that has serrated edges that's in wooden pallets sheds this tool has a slide hammer to drive the jaws in too the wood to get to the head of the nail without destroying the wood completely it also has a heel on to one of the jaws to help prise the nail out many thanks to ffx for this unique tool making it easier to get the job done

  • Have had this similar tool before to use...

Have had this similar tool before to use. Only one difference is the rivet on the shaft was domed/rounded, not square edged, which sometimes impedes the sliding action!

  • This nail puller is no leg pull!

An old tried and tested design of tool, this Faithfull Nail Puller is the most efficient device for removing nails from timber leaving little or no damage, enabling the timber to be reused. Plus, these nail pullers last for many years despite the hammering they get in use. Ideal for dismantling pallets!

  • Good for pulling

I bought this having never used one before but it’s much better than a crow bar or claw hammer. I’ve lent it out to people who’ve gone a bought one for themselves.

  • Excellent

I'm using this tool to pull ring shank nails out of pallet runners. The nails are quite soft and some are rusted. Using a claw hammer just bends the head over and the hammer slips off. I can't get enough grip using pincers to move the nails. The puller gives a lot of grip and leverage. Some nails snap off but I'm able to pull about 90% easily.
