Brilliant!
I've been using this type of peeler for many years. Basic, does the job, no worries. Since retuning from America I can find this basic item anywhere. I opted for something similar from Sebatier. Good brand but awful, and expensive peeler. I had been struggling with it for 3 years now when I found this one on eBay. It arrived yesterday and just wow! Back to normal. Peeled my cucumber,potatoes and cooking apples like a dream. I am unbelievably grateful to have back a truly functional piece of kit that does what it says on the tin. Just ordered 2 more. Poor potato peeler
This is not a comfortable peeler to use as the both the handle and the blade are just not quite long enough so the handle in particular is quite uncomfortable in the palm of the hand. There is a spindle that goes thought the handle and attached to the blade but this is just a push fit and and the blade becomes disengaged from the handle very easily. Does the job as it should
Feels comfortable in the hand and it's definitely sharp and easy to use. I thought it takes a bit too much off the potato but I'm assuming that will adjust with time. disappointing
I was not impressed with the peeler at all, it needs harder sharper metal.it required to much force to peel my potatoes and carrots I Have used the same style of peeler before and it was excellent but your one does not come up to it. it was not ground properly and the blade was not substantial enough.
