Thriller in which Nicolas Cage stars as a wheeler-dealing cop who becomes tangled up in a high-level assassination conspiracy. Rick Santoro expects plenty of action when he joins his old friend, a straight-laced Navy officer on bodyguard duty, at a boxing match. There's more action than he bargained for, however, when the politician his friend was protecting is killed.
