There are reviews of this type of expander that suggest they are no good. My experience was to take out an egg sized dents from the link pipe of a no longer available Akrapovic motorcycle system with ease in 20 minutes. Sure, it's thin wall stainless steel so a relatively easy task, but nevertheless impressive to me and aced the job I wanted it for. Happy to have this tool in my arsenal for future restoration work.

Very handy tools for making dented pipe tips circular again
Great tools, perfectly strong and adequate for making a dented tailpipe circular again, also very handy for fitting sleeved exhausts as it can open up the split ends or make any end round and true again. These will not however expand the pipe in any way, but that is not what they are made for...
