I decided quite some time ago to carry out all my routine services, myself. I already have a substantial auto tool kit, mostly Snap on and Teng. But have really good Sealy and silverline. The one tool that eluded me was a deep reach spark plug remover and insertion tool. I quickly found a sealey T-bar 16mm long reach tool. I ordered there and then due to the urgency of the job. Delivery time was good and was set to get job done next morning. Already had all prep work done, just to remove 4 plugs. Tool fitted perfectly down into engine, engaged plug neatly. Began to turn anticlockwise , plug was quite tight increased manual effort, snap handle completely disintegrated in my hand. What was left of the the metal rod where the handle used to be, was not of any metric or imperial sized socket. Out with baby grinder and milled rod end to fit 14mm socket, beat it on with hammer, now that's what I call a spark plug tool. Finished my entire job successfully and torqued everything up to spec. Tool wasn't a Snap on , but it is now.
