Reading the description, the product should have fit my car perfectly, did my oil change and changed the filter whilst replacing my filter cap with the new one. It went on alright i tightened it to the specified torque, it seemed to be stick out a few mm more than the old one but looked okay. Filled up the car and went for a test drive. no problems. Two days later on a longer trip on the motorway i had a catastrophic oil loss. Ended having to be recovered from the motorway as oil was pouring out the car. The garage i took it to, after having the car in told me the filter cap was the problem and that the cut in for the oring is too wide meaning it cannot make a good seal. Buy genuine Ford, only £30ish and will save you a two days without your vehicle and being recovered from the motorway. As a side note the returns process for the product is one of the worst i've come across, i would not recommend deal with TransitpartsUK.Read full review
