Yes it iwas a good title, very much Suzie Wong's world, culture and lifestyle
Such a great sotry line, the film seemed to go on for so long, I felt truly immersed in the narriative and the way it played out from the beginning when William Holden came to Hong Kong by the ferry boat to the end. It was such an enjoyable movie and for once with a happy ending. There aren't many of William's movies where it ends happy with the gilr and.or him alive. I think he was wrong when he would often say to the directors and producers ` yes I will do the movie but if I die or there isn't a happy ending.'
well made film with down to earth characters .shows Hong Kong as it was when i served in the army there in 1960 even down to the monsoon storms and landslides.
