Product Information
The Easipet National Beehive consists of two cedar brood boxes, the first of which has a Varroa mesh floor that slides out for inspection and an entrance block with winter and summer holes. The second box has a metal queen extruder and cutouts for two porter bee escapes. Your bees will be naturally attracted to this unit. Good hive for competent person
If I hadn't assembled a hive or parts before, this would be difficult as the instructions are useless. Lots of videos on line at Thornes on how to assemble brood boxes and supers etc. The quality of the wood is a little like balsa wood: very light and sometimes brittle and did split on a couple of occasions.
