Well made! Makes pruning so much easier.
Fiskars doesn't make this model any longer. I already had this pruner but wanted to buy one as a gift. Glad I found it on EBAY. This older model is so much more sturdy than Fiskars current (replacement) model. The ratcheting feature is wonderful, especially if you don't have super hand strength. Ratchet Hand Pruners
These ratchet hand pruners were still in their original packaging. I had used this product before. They work as advertised. The problem I had with the first pair is that while pruning my grapes, I accidentally caught the chain link fence in my pruners which left a small hole in the blade. Better than State Fair
I purchased a kiosk ratcheting pruner at our local state fair a year ago. I fell in love with it but unfortunately left it lying by some debris I was pruning for a few minutes and when I came back it was gone. I waited for this years fair but I balked at paying another $30 for a new one. I decided to wait and look on eBay and found this much better quality product at less than half the price. I figured you can't go wrong with Fiskars and I am not disappointed. The build quality is much better than the state fair products and has a nice ergonomic feel to it. Great gardening tool!
They are the best ratchet pruners I have owned! I've tried many in the past, and they always fail in time. They may be a bit large for some hands, or you may not be able to use them for extended afternoons of pruning, but they will cut things the others won't. And a really great thing is they are guaranteed by Fiskars! If they break, and they may in time, contact Fiskars and they will replace them!
