  • Good Graphics. Great price! Frustrating to play.

Reading read the reviews of "Call of Juarez," the game seemed to promise an exciting experience. It loaded up easy on my Windows 7, and played seemlessly. However, the one aspect which completely spoiled the flow of the game was the irritatingly and frustration of having to move boxes, barrels and vrates and then position them against fences and walls to be able to climb out of some sticky situations and progress onto the next section. I tried and tried to get to grips with this aspect but found it so frustrating that I abandoned the game an uninstalled it. No doubt there are cheats one can employ to perhaps get around these frustrations, but quite honestly, I just could not be bothered! I found the game lacked any sort of direction and one had to find and download a "walkthrough" to be able to progress at all. (however, even the walkthrough's - as good as they were - didn't explain how to get over having to move boxes, crates and pallets!). So, there you are. I've been asked to do a review and that is only my opinion. I think, more experienced game players will find "Call of Juarex" the exciting game the reviews say it is? Thank you for reading this.
